96 I30 - facelift and upgrade

Finished a lot of winter work on the car: New headlights and fogs (HID's), new rims/tires, changed passenger axle, new suspension.

Looks real nice.. I like theses rims over the ones in your sig.

Question btw, how did you get your fogs that colour?

Thanks, I'm loving the new rims too. The rims I have my sig are my track rims, but I'm selling them as I'm not sure if I'm going to track this car anymore.

The fogs are 3000K HID's. No painting anything, no caps.

man that looks NICE bro. rims came out better than expected (stil need spacers). you GOTTA change that tint though.

pm me if you think you might be interested in some retroed cefiros. i'm gonna be too low to use them (cutoff 1' off the ground ftl).

Hahaha I've been getting flack everywhere about that tint. I bought it like that, and some days I like it, some I don't. I've thought about changing it, but it's not deal breaker for me.

But I am thinking about spacers...

About the retroed Cefiro's, not yet, but maybe later. My little sister is getting married soon, so I'm helping her out. Mods will have to wait.

Thanks for all the comments.

yeah, nice touch on the rims. they are sporty, but still luxurious without them being chrome. good look!! yeah get rid of that two tone mirror tint tho. i'm in the same boat, bought mine like that too, but at least all the way mirror, and at night you can't really tell

Thanks guys. Some info -

- I may get rid of the tint by midsummer, not sure yet.
- I bought a meguiars mini-powerball specifically to clean these rims because of all the spokes.
- I'm dropped on K-sports, no oil leak, etc. so far.
-
Blackonblack, I don't mind at all, I appreciate you doing that actually. I'm pretty sure I won't get the same level or type of response, but I can deal with criticism, so I'm going to go check out the thread.

Once again, thanks for the feedback everyone.

oooh, loving the new look Renny!
im surprised you haven't been hassled by the popo in re: tints yet...
are u sure you got rubber on them rims? dam.. how's the ride comfort?

I think the rear has to come down maybe 1/4-1/2 inch more.. or raise the front 1/4-1/2 inch more.. but that's just me.. eheheh

looks great again.. maybe I'll sell you my retroed Cefiro's once completed ( 90% complete now).. eheheeh once again, sweet ride..

all u need now is a junction produce/VIP style lip kit

*these rim suit the car much better then the previous ones..

Your car looks sinister, especially the front...wheel fitment could be better, but the stance is spot on...

Oh the front, I am going to have nightmares with that car in my rear view!!!

Man thats one of the cleanest I30's I've seen yet. Love the agressive stance with those wheels. Are those 19 inch Privats? Car looks great man, props.

Very nice man. The car as a whole (besides the tint) is great and the rims add so much to it.
