1995 Maxima with a 2003 Front end... lol

I had No idea ...
If you look closely you can see the 1995 rear bumper and tail lights, and in the pictures, it doesn't look like everything lines up in the front.

What on earth was this dude thinking about

I think I know what he was thinking about the resale value of his car, maybe I will get something out of this If I can swap the front to a 2003 max and I will have two Kbb value on this car 1 for the front and 1 for that back.

I wanna see under the hood, particularly the fender and rad. support mounting.
It's probably a disaster.

With 18" rims and red/clears in the back and 2k3 headlights...that car might actually look pretty hot.

I wouldn't do it because I have TL Retrofitted projectors that I'm NEVER getting rid of lol.

When compared side to side, the look VERY similar, but as far as dimensions . though, in for underhood pics.

My guess is the guy probably wrecked the car, and got a helluva a deal on a 5.5 gen front clip.

There was a white 4th gen at one of the markham meets down here in florida a year or 2 ago that had 02-03 headlights. It had the 97-98 front end and stillen lip. I think He had to trim the hood a little to make it fit. It looked good though.

I also dont think it would look THAT bad with a 4.5 rear conversion and maybe spoiler to round out the back

If that didn't have chrome everywhere, it wouldn't look half bad. IMO the 4th gen rear looks better (well, the 97-99) than the 5th gen and the 5th gen front end looks better than the 4th...if someone pulled it off it could look really good...

If the guy can just bring down the front hoodline to the headlight alittle more down where the front grille meets and bring in the clerance corners in alittle more towards the outerpart of the headlight then the car will really look like a 96 camry. uggh

I found the picture of the white one I was talking about. I just need to find a USB cable. It looks 100x better than the crap that was posted before. GTR_rider might still have the picture of it if I cant get a USB cable soon. It used to be on vqpower.com in one of the markham meet galleries.

i still dont see whats wrong with it.

people do 95/96 to 98 swaps and the same for early 5th gen to later 5th gen. this is a clean looking job, i cant see why all the stupid up roar over it.

my only problem with it is he choose a 5th gen for it which looks as bloated as a dead body in a river.

that is seriously one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen. That car should be driven off a cliff and then strafed by an A-10.

haha i wouldnt be surprised if all that crap just bolted on.

if any of you are farmiliar with 240's at all... you can swap frontends like crazy and the headlights, fenders, and a few other things for the most part bolt right up ...

minor modification to fit.

anyways. creative idea of his. but eh kinda gross lol he molested a maxima :P

I thought about this front end before I got the Max. I bet it's a real easy swap too, two peeps w/a 4th and 5th gen should take measurements.
