clearcoat fading
Ok guys on my wheels, the clear coat is starting to "peel" or whatever youd like to consider it, i was wondering if any of you knew where i coud get something to strip JUST the clearcoat and refinish the spokes?

You can't strip just the clear, a stripper is going to take all the paint off.
Basically you need to refinish them and that involves taking them down far enough to be able to produce a flat finish. Sand, prime, sand again until smooth. Then a few coats of base color and then two coats of clear should do it.
For $165 bucks you can have a wheel profesionally reconditioned. Here in NJ we use a company called Keystone.

1. do you know what Tom does for a living?
2. Unless you really know what your doing it may not be even worth it to start messing with it. You may wind up spending more money on this venture down the line.
