It has come time to sell my Maxima and want to give you guys on the org first dibs since this forum has been a wealth of info for me and I know you guys appreciate a 5 spd Maxima..

Recent updates:

Less than 1k miles on newly rebuilt transmission
New rear rotors, calipers and pads,
New front tires (about 2k miles)
New clutch master cylinder
New passenger side axle

Front end was repainted about a year ago (hood, bumper cover). Some of the paint was chipping on the lower valence and it was just repainted last week so it is perfect! There are a few scratches and a couple of places where the paint is not perfect on the rest of the car but nothing you wouldn't expect on an 8 year old car.

Runs great and has an awesome exhaust note but not too loud!! I am selling it because I bought a car to get back and forth to work in (50 miles a day) that is more economical and I really want to get a bike to ride on weekends!!

Asking $6800... if no interest over the next week I will put it on Autotrader..

You said you were looking for a bike for the weekend. If you are interested, I have a 2002 Honda VFR800. Red with black wheels. little over 20,000 miles. It has a gutted stock exhaust and sounds really good, not too loud to get you in trouble with and of course it is a V4 which sounds kind of like a high revving Chevy v8. It gets normally 40-50mpg. I live in Wisconsin but could maybe meet you half way. There aren't any private party values for motorcycles but motorcycle consumer news has a value guide at 5160 but I would go less. If interested I can take some pictures.

Well I am looking for more of a cruiser type bike.. I have had the sportbike before and really like them but want something a little more upright now.. I have really been looking for a Honda Magna type.. I like the V4.. just in a different frame.. Half way from TX to WI is kind of far for me to ride on a bike.. The wife is pressuring me to get a Harley but that might be out of my price range.
