F.S. 2001 Honda RVT1000R RC51 $5,100

Before I start please do not try to talk me down. This really is a good price for this bike. If you want it for $5,000 I'll keep the PCIIIR. With all the Extras the Price is $5,100 FIRM. If you see and hear this bike run you will understand that this RC has been cared for very well and only garage kept by both I and the original owner.

I have a 2001 RC51 for sale. This bike is my baby but I am going to be Moving to Texas for Border Patrol training so I need to sell it. The bike reads around 4,000 miles but in actuality it is around 10,000 miles.

I purchased the bike in july of 07 and the guy I got it from told me about some issues he was having with the gauge cluster. Shortly after I got it the cluster fried. I believe the bike had about 7,700 miles on it (it is on the title which my bank has)I can call if you like and get the exact mileage. I bought a cluster with 1,800 miles on it and it now ready just over 4,000. I still ride the bike so the miles may change a little. The bike was in a VERY low speed low side but has VERY minimal damage. You can see in the pictures.

I replaced the left fairing with one from an 03+ RC51 (all RC51 fairings bolt right up to all year RC51s). Tank was replaced and so was the tail. Tank is MINT and the tail in the pictures is NOT the tail currently on the bike. The tail on the bike is nicer and has less damage. Upper just has normal wear on it and a small chip out of the top right. For an extra $325 I can take the upper and side fairings off and get a set of MINT fairings (upper and sides). It will actually cost me about $600 to get it all but I would only ask $325.

Nice Pilot Powers on it. I ONLY used Repsol semi synthetic and it has been changed three times now in my ownership (just changed it over the weekend). Chain and sprockets are in good shape. Bike Needs nothing! Ready to ride!

If you don't know about the RC51 then you probably shouldn't buy it. It is not for unexperienced riders. TONS of torque. By far the best bike I have ever owned.

It has a few extras... Jardine Ti low mount slip ons, PCIIIR (NEW in box), Flapper mod, stock exhaust and many other spare parts. Give me a call with any questions at all.

This bike really is nice. NO mechanical issues at all. Runs awesome and you can't beat that twin growl. I know that the issue with the cluster may make you think twice about the bike but what I said is the complete truth. If I was trying to screw somebody over I would tell you that the bike has 4K on it instead of telling you the actual mileage. Again, I haven't even had this bike a year and I really took good care of her. I don't want to see it go but I really don't have a choice.

I am located in Manassas, Va

AND NO THE BIKE IN THE AVITAR IS NOT THE BIKE FOR SALE

Thanks a lot for looking!

$5100 FIRM. I will not trade because i still owe on the bike.

You list your location, but put it in your profile as well.

Rc51's are great bikes. My friend has an rc51 & he also has the same problem with the guage cluster too. I just sold my suz tl1000r. Nothing like a vtwin with some pipes. The group I rode with all had vtwins. We had 2 rc51's, my tl1000r, aprilia mille r, and a duc monster. We would roll by a bike group and they would be blown away by the sound.

Where in TX are you going to?

Again the rc51 is a great bike.

That's awesome, I'm glad somebody on here knows what the RC is and what it can do. The Tillr is a great bike also. I wish I had a group of twins to ride with. I am not sure where yet. I take my entrance exam on the 25th and go from there.
Thanks for the compliments guys
