Just bought an I30

I just bought the I30 that was in the for sale ad in VA. I met the guy on Monday and am picking the car up this coming Sunday. The car is in mint condition and ran great. I fell in love with all of the luxuries especially since I have only owned mustangs literally all my life. I cant wait to get it. Is there anything I should look out for with these cars. It does have high miles but for $5500 and almost 2 years left on an unlimited mile warranty I cant go wrong. Here is the car...

Just take it to a mechanic and take a look at cv boots, exhaust, struts...? things wear out after a while...but it's a nice and reliable vehicle.

^^ He's owned stangs all his life, I think that classifies him as a mechanic.

95-99 VQ30 > any foxbody 302 except a '93 cobra. 00-01 VQ30 > '93 cobra motor. VQ35 > 3-valve 4.6l

4-valve cobra motor > anything nissan ever made in the states.

I can give you the number for the warranty company. You can buy the remotes but it would be cheaper to get a viper system honestly. That would be nicer.

You the man.... I have been driving it around on back roads lmao. You think I could get some Tokiko Illuminas and try that as far as the ride or do you think just find someone to swap me springs?

do the springs. The kyb GR2s are only about 20% more dampening then the stock springs so they aren't the caust of the hard ride. Go with H-Techs. you will like it.

I just bought my Infiniti I35 sport a few days ago and I love it so far. It has all the luxury options i wanted and has alot more pickup than I expected.

Welcome to the boards... I wish my car was a sport as I am swapping springs within the next two weeks to stiffen up the car. Post some pics when you get a chance.

From what ive heard... Same everything except springs (similar to GLE vs SE o the maxies), the front sway bar is the SE thickness, wheels are bigger (7.5 vs 7 for luxury), and the upgraded traction control..

Wheels are all 17x7. They just have different offset and different size tires. Also some interior and exterior differences.

Sorry GTpowered, I tried to make a new thread but i can't right now because I'm too new to the board. Here are some pics of my
02 Infiniti I35 Sport, I just got it last week and love it so far.

I'm actually bringing it in tonight to get brembo blanks and Akebono pads put on and next week I'm hoping to put on new shocks and springs.

Add clear front sidemarkers to that list.. Maybe even blacking out the front and rear bumper trim...

I've been thinking about selling the rims and tires, but only if the price is right. I am definately changing out the gold as well. For now I am trying to buff it off....hahaha
