well, i got my hands on one for 75.00 brand new and was wondering what are the gains if any with this addition?? i heard one on a honda and it was loud as hell, please tell me maxes are not as bad. could'nt find a video, anyone got one i could hear??? thanks>>>

 

NO gains!!!...just pretty much sound.

 

Best intake, IMO. it's little loud, but only when you open the throttle, but why not isntall it and see for yourself.

When I got mine, I was able to install it in a parking lot before I even got home. Wow, that was like 8 year ago.

Stillen High-Flow Short Ram Intake with the stock midpipe/resonator and a Cattman Y pipe were the two major mods here.

I honestly love my intake...it is loud when you get on it (>50% throttle) and quiet when you are easy on the gas. I think it is one of the best $50 dollars I have put into the car. And although you might see minimal gains in #'s, it isn't anything big (like a y pipe or VI).
