What do you think about these on a 97 whtie SE. I know chrome usually doesn't go well with white but these are really nice rims wheels for $350. They are stock maxima wheels, also same wheel as 35th Anniv. 350Z

 

yea i agree they are nice


but as the owner of a white 97, i can tell you chrome does not look good with white.

i ended up going with a dark grey/gunmetal color and havent looked back.

yea they are good looking, but heavy (~24 lbs i think)

and they are NOT as white as they look in that picture. that was just from the way the sun was hitting it.

I like the 02 se the most for some odd reason.

 

if you like them, put them on man. It shudnt be up to the orgers to tell you what to put on the max.

i was thinking the same thing. rockart likes to show off his wheels constantly, and IMO none of them really look that good on his car, the G35C's were probably the best. The SE-Rs are too dark for white.

but i agree with everine...you did post all his pictures again.

i got a white max 98, i got 18inch chrome, but my door handles are chrome to , gxe model

 

If some1 doesn't like sum1's setup and doesn't have anything nice to say they should keep their comments to themselves i personally put the 18in chrome plated rims on my max because i only paid $100 picked up with almost brand new tires, and the match my door handles and trim around the windows (gxe model)

i think they would look ok, although i dont think they are an oem wheel.

couple things here:

1) you posted a whole bunch of pics that look nothing like the ones in question

2) you liking/not liking them doesn't constitute a mistake/good decision. imho you settled on the worst of the ones you had.

matter of opinion, not fact. i would ride chrome way way WAAAY before i rode gunmetal on a white car.

not hating rocky, just pointing out that your opinion is just that... an opinion. present it as such rather than taking the "i went through 1000 sets of wheels in 6 months so i know everything" approach

I think that they would look nice. But it is not what I or anyone else think, it is what you think. Remember, when you are modding you car do what makes you happy even if its getting an electric supercharger. Even though I do not recommend you doing that.

Photoshop them on and see if they look nice. Of course they will be different when actually on your car, but you can get a feel for the look. I think they would look nice.
