Car feels slow....

so i have a 95 max 5 spd and it just feels slow to me, idk why... I was told by a mechanic a while back that i will need a clutch replacement, but checked today again and was told everything is fine... the car does not slip lately...
I dont know if its me or not but i did 0-60 in 8 secs couple of times, and i just cant imagine how you can get it there faster, plus my car does not sound like most maxima V6's, its way too quiet... What is the problem?? If there is one, it just feels like there is one to me, the car does not feel right, feels held back

Now i've heard that maxima's get to 60 in 7 secs... And when reading reviews from people about 95's they say it's a 4 door sports car, does not seem like one to me...

The car should be that quiet but it's your driving. You're shifting to slow, late and slipping the clutch. Go out and test the car again but shift to 2nd around 5.2k and pop your foot off the clutch. The tires should chirp.

never tested 0-60 exactly
0-100 in 14 seconds tho 95 SE 5spd intake, exhaust, ngk platinums, redline gear oil

does seem a lil slow in my opinion when i hit 2nd pulls to 60 rather quickly

A random thought: Is your handbrake operate easily? If not it could maybe not release correctly and hold you back a bit then.

Just cant imagine why one stock trim would run so much slower then another unless something is restricted if it was electrical or mechanical seems car would have issues other then slow lol
