They can add dye in the casting process. It doesnt make it any strong that is all in the fiber. The most important thing is top make sure they are using high quality stuff and there is a good shot over clear over it.

well ill have rims on by then... and i already have black housing headlights+corners+bumper lights+97-99 smoked tails(since the trunk is really for a 97-99 not 95-96 like mine. i also plan on getting a lip kit but i wantd to see if after i buy the hood and trunk i can convince them to make me a silver cf lip kit. (that would be awesome)

I disagree, I have a CF hood on my max which is, for the most part, stock on the outside (i.e. no styling kits) and I think it looks fine...

definetly lower/rims first then do the hood/trunk. thats just my personal opinion. i would never do wheels without a drop, 4x4 look is No good

yes and yours also isnt a drastic color change. hes putting silver cf hood and trunk on a black car. in those pics u can see a contrast but its not a HUGE difference in color. now if your car was white it would look like ***

It all depends on your own taste. We don't have to drive it you do. I don't think it'd be too bad. That's why they sell so many custom parts cause everyone likes something different. If you like it go for it.

Oh and by the way that pic of your car wrapped up is priceless!! lol

is that your max in the second pic?
man its going to take A LOT more than just blacked out headlights and this and that if your going to pull off silver CF hood and trunk. and if that is your car in the second pic,
don't know how black or whatever that color is would go with silver CF....

I didn't take a look at the color. I just paid attention to the fact that it was wrapped up. It would look alot better if the car was a different color.

Its silver carbon fiber on white fiberglass to help bring out the silver. The normal black colored trunks are the same way, just with black fiberglass.
Not too sure how its going to look, never seen black with silver before. I have seen red carbon fiber on a red car and it looked really good.Silver on silver would look pretty sick in my opinion.
I can honestly say that a CF trunk and hood on a bone stock car is going to look odd, especially with those crappy wheels. Seems like theres other cosmetic things that can be done with that amount of money before those two.

I wouldnt be worried about the color affecting the quality, rather then the quality of the overall craftmanship of the items.
Many of the CF parts made by smaller CO.s use a FG mold, over and over and the molds soon warp, resulting in crappy fitting parts.

Eh true, my car being a dark blue/CF isn't a huge contrast, but flava's car is white/CF and i think it looks great but I think a big part of it is her went all out with the markers, lips, et cetera, whereas the OP here would have only the trunk and hood. would look a little out of place I suppose.

kinda that "oh $hit I broke my $hit and the junk yard only had ruby red for my white car" look.

Of all the cool things you can do with an unmodded Max, you go with a CF hood? A Y-pipe would do lot more for you and probably cost less. But then again I tend to lean toward less bling and more vroom.

I was hoping that was the case...because I know that the silver would look sexy as hell on a white car.

Should have saved your money on those BS headers and bought a decent Y pipe, or spent a bit more and done the Cattman headers.
