Replaced o2 sensor--Check engine light supposed to go off?
Hey guys,
Just replaced my o2 sensor. I did this whole process while the battery was connected. I used a universal one and spliced all the wires into the originals. I've done this whole process before but I can't remember if I kept the battery connected...
When I turned on the car the light was still on and I could've sworn it went off immediately after I replaced my last o2 sensor.
My questions: Is the light supposed to go off on its own? If it didn't immediately turn off is there something wrong? Do I need to get it reset and it will be fine?
