decided to take highway shots of my car. i was riding in my friends spec-v and my other friend was driving my car. this is my first time doing this sort of shooting so the quality is nothing spectacular and hosting them on photobucket seems to lower the picture quality. no editing other than resizing has been done. any comments are welcome, and as always enjoy the photos.

 

 

 

 

I like the stance.. How does the road treat the ride? Do you ever bottom out.

This picture is stunning. Keep it up and play with these settings, as the others are too quick and make your car look like it is standing still on the highway.

 

You need wider wheels and better offsets, ASAP...

Stance is killer though...

 

Damn, your car is DUMPED! Very nice stance. I agree with Fast1one though, you need lower offsets.

 

Very neat wheel/drop combo, I really like the way it looks... even with the lower offset... It's original, but good looking also.

If you set the exposure time for a few seconds and found a way to steady the camera well you could get some really cool in motion shots. Like the one you have.

 

Not knowing how to drag the shutter without overexposing FTL...

 

why do people say "low offset" to designate sunken-in wheels? More offset pushes the wheels into the car, less offset pushes the wheels out of the fenders. A zero offset wheel would make a maxima look like an open wheeled racer.

 

Very clean car, love the stance. I'm really feeling the picture where you can see the motion of the wheels!

+1 on the stance. I love it, but I don't think I would ever do that personally. The roads here in Seattle would murder the car.

thanks for the comments, everyone. i'm lowered on ksports. as for the wheels, i got them for free so i'm not concerned about the offsets. i know the shots look like i'm standing still. i was too caught up in the excitement of hanging out my friend's window to adjust the settings to perfect. i'm going to be taking some better ones real soon, when i am not pressed for time.

You gotta turn down your shutter speed, like someone above said, your car looks like its standing still. Lower the speed and follow the car and then take the shot, the background should be blurred.

 

haha nice wheels you theif! technically those belong on my car since I purchased them with my car! jerk.

lol i think the next mod you should do is the 5.5 headlights...would be sick.

I think the tails match well since he has dark tints. Is your car sunlit sand? Also what muffler do you have?

 

yup the car is EV0. the muffler is an OBX dual tip.

You got much more ballsie with your drop than I did. I like those wheels on your car.

 

you're lowered on the same thing as me, with a drop like that do you find yourself going through axles more than you should, cause i do n my drop looks the same if not yours is lower and im on 6 axles in 9 months

 

i've replaced my axles once so far.

 

What axles have you all been using?

i didn't like the color at first, but after a while i realized there weren't a lot of them out there...modded atleast. i also never fully finished what i had planned for it because i'm still looking to get 2nd gen GS.
