Picking up new used car

So hey folks. I've been away for a long time. Currently driving a 2007 Altima, but I'm loading the miles on my lease since I moved to a new location. Needed to get something else to rack the miles up with.

So, enter the car I shall pick up today. 1995 blueish/grey (can't remember the color name) Max 5-speed. Lots o miles 151,000, but she's a beaut. Takin the train out to Chicago today to meet up and drive her home.

Feels good to be back, the Altima forums were driving me nuts.

Cheers.

So, apparently this ISN'T happening. Guy called me about 15 minutes before the cab arrived to take me to the train station, said he just sold the car from under me to someone offering $200 more.

Grrrrrrrrrr. I'm pissed. Now i'm out $100 for the train ticket and had to pay the cab guy.

Wow, sorry to hear that man. But these cars are all over. You'll definitely find another one soon, maybe even with lower mileage. Let us know if you find anything else, and good luck in your search!

I think I found another one. I believe we are going to trade in the wife's 99 BMW M roadster and pick it up.

Unless of course someone here knows of someone looking for a really nice M roadster.

haha... sux about the first one... what an idiot... but good you found another... you can pretty much expect that 151,xxx miles to go for another 100,xxx... if its been kept up at all... oil and gasoline make these cars go forever!

We shall see. I don't want to say anything at the moment, considering what happened last time.
