That seems like a really low trap for a 12.7et.

I was wondering the same....wasn't there another turbo Altima owner (Brian or something?) that ran a built KA24DE on 10lbs w/a 12.7 @110? Of course different driver, car, turbo, track,etc....

Nice job...

Nice car!! And Nice ET. Your Trap may be a little low depending on what elevation/atmospheric conditions were present at the time of your runs.

Definate sleeper!!

That's a quick Altima! I don't get why the trap speed is so low though.

FWD and Rwd KA24DE's have the same exhaust manifold but the orientation of the turbo is always different, the manifold that I have have was custom made for my car .. I only know of one guy that have tried the VQ swap on Altima, I dont even know if he ever finished it. It would be nice though, putting a VQ in an Altima which is slightly lighter than a Maxima.

Nice run but your AFR oscillates a lot at high RPM and goes pretty lean in certain spots.

At least one member went 14.6 all motor AND on stock 9.2 compression and wasn't gutted...
Same one went 13.9 w/a 10.5 compression and junk cams....

I have not dynoed it yet, with that trap speed I'm guessing about 300ish hp.

Dude, whats up with your tune?

What kind of EMS are you using, what fuel pump, and size injectors? Aren't you concerned about the wacky afr... probably why you trapped so low ?

I'm running the JWT 96lb program, I think problem with AFR's was with the SAFC because the tune was not too good on it there was too much fuel taken off around the 5000-5800rpm range thats why it would go lean every time the engine would go through that range than it would get rich around 6k-redline . Now I have tuned it a little better and I also switch to a blow through maf setup which should help with the richness in between gears .

NEW PB 11.8 @ 114 MPH..

Got 3 more passes in today @ Island dragway here in NJ, this track sucks but it was the only close to me that was doing test and tune..

1st pass= 11.9 @ 115 Mph 1.9 60ft
2nd pass= 12.4@ 110 Mph 1.9 60ft
3rd pass= 11.82 114 Mph 1.8 60ft

The cars was spinning tires 1st -2nd gear and bogging 3rd gear on all 3 passes and for some dumb reason I was letting off before the trap, must of been because I was too excited.. Slips and vids will be up soon..
