Will it be smoother or rougher?

If you're going H&R keep your stockers and you should be fine.

With the AGX's, it depends on your setting. Lower = softer ride, Higher = stiffer ride. Struts will not lower your car, springs will (it'll look the same).

actually.....what I meant to ask was.....if I change the springs only and keep the stock struts how will that affect my ride? Will it be smoother or rougher? My car also has about 23,000 miles on it.
How much longer before I'll be needing to replace the struts?
thanks again...

Some of us have had aftermarket springs on our car (with stock struts) for a VERY long time. Your struts will still last a while, but it is better to do both springs and struts at the same time to save bling bling.
You're welcome.

There will be a difference in ride quality. Depending on which springs you choose, you can have "close to stock feeling" or "far from stock feeling"

I was told HR's are smoother than Eibach's......is this true?
and by the way thanks for all the info......I was wondering if you'd still be as helpful as you usually are even after that last thread I posted regarding jANE97se

Question on the AGX...it seems obvious that the front struts can be adjusted on the fly. Pop the hood, turn the dial. What about the rears? Would you have to remove the trunk lining to get to the top of the strut where the adjustment is? Could you even get your hand, or a screwdriver in there to make the adjustment?

No, the **** on the rear struts/shocks (whatever you want to call them) can be adjusted by raising your car a little (make room for your hand to go in and turn).
