i was skating with some friends and my hockey team........and a girl that i had with me (cant leave that part out), and basically my ex saw her with me. thats basically the story, but here it is broken down slightly. im skatin (skatin=showing off for hot girl), talkin to the girl i had with me, and i turn and look and theres my ex with her friend standin at the glass watchin me and the other girl, well they started talkin junk and left for about 5-10 minutes (hmmmmmm, just long enough to leave the building and walk across the parking lot and then come back inside). they came back and told me that "i would be sorry" (thats not a dead givaway that they had done somethin?). well i was just like whatever and tended to my other business. when i left 2nite there it was above the door handle. my ex and her friend were the ONLY 2 peeps that WERE THERE that WOULD have done it. And it WAS NOT there earlier becuz i had just washed my max (and i would have noticed it if it was there b4, BELIEVE ME) before i picked up my hot date for the nite . so i cant file a report becuz i didnt SEE them do it, although i KNOW it was one of them (most likely my ex). however one good thing did come out of this........i didnt let the incident totally ruin the rest of my nite .

JFC, WTF is up with all of these cars getting keyed?? WTF??

Maybe it's time to revive those 10,000 volt car security systems that fry any **** that touches your car

At least you know who it is...I got keyed about 2 weeks ago by someone who obviously was just hating on my car.... I have no enemies. I got keyed from the passenger's front headlight all the way back to the back door handle!!! Have no idea who it was either. I went to the cops and they practically said "so what?" because I had no evidence! I still have the scratch today because it will be about $1000 to get the paint-job done right (get the paint blended properly). But I'll tell you this...If i knew who it was, I would be writing you this respond from jail because I would definately have "Jet-Li'd" their @$$ by now!!!

Your ex

was it your ex-wife? or ex girlfriend? Just curious becuase if it was say your ex-wife, and you maybe had kids together it could change how you want to pursue the issue. Luckily it sounds like she only got one panel, your door, most insurance companies file the claim under comprehensive which usually has a much lower deductible. Sorry to hear about it Bro, if your ex is a continued problem filling a report could be a good idea just in case next time she decides to flip out you have the first incidenct on record.

Sorry to hear that man. I'd like to recommend that you guys have a night vision camera installed outside of your house so you can see what is going.

Get a couple of estimates to re-paint the door and sue her in small claims court.
You don't necessarily need an eye witness for small claims. It's your word against hers and the judge may very well believe you when you state her motives.
Worth a try and you're only out the filling fee and an afternoon in court.

absolutely...

its going to cost 300-500 to fix in a good body shop (with proper blending). Tell her if she pays your deductable on the insurance, you wont sue her.

why? because you arent going to get jack from her, but it may make her think twice about doing it again! thats all you can really do.. press her with it so she will leave your property alone.
