Do other drivers ever flash u for your lights?
This is for people with Xenon headlights or the bright white lights...
do other people on the road ever flash you with their lights? Thinking that you have your high beams on? How often does this happen? Do you find this annoying?

I'm with ICE, I never been flashed, even when I thought it was aimed too high cause I could no longer see the light on the ground. But still it dont blind other people because of the nice FLAT pattern that it output-ed.
with my original lights?
yes.. with the 2k2 HIDs, no. even aimed high. I only brought them down to the stock position because the High pattern was too high. God help the poor fool that flashes me.. I'll give them a free Xray with my highs
So does anyone know how to re-aim the lights? I got people pointing middle finger at me. And the sad thing is that I am always too tired to fight back. So i guess I have to re-aim my lights. But I have no knowledge of how to so can someone teach me? Thanks a lot
I get flashed and I'm just using the Cool Blues...it's usually after I've come up on someone on the hightway and made the pass. oh well....I thing a bit might have to do when I'm passing them seeing how the Max's headlights throw more light to the right...probably lights up their cabin pretty good...
and thats even with the haze on the headlight plastic that will never go away

seriously...
Safecut will knock out that haze. make the lights look brand new again.. just clean them well with soap and water, use a ultra soft cloth and fold it alot while cleaning. Pepboys + $8 + old cotton tshirt + 15 mins = new looking headlights.

Just wondering before I roll over to Pepboys for my weekly Saturday visits.

yeah...
he's talking about the white-ish yellow haze on the outside.. safecut was the only thing that would touch it on my 2k headlights. I hope I dont have to use it anytime soon on the 2k2s, but I swear that 2k2 plastic seems softer.
I drive with my Hi-Beam's on all the time...
If you blind them, that means they know you're there.
I do this mainly because of the incredible level of retardism on the road in my area (MD/VA/DC area - Paul, Nauman, and myself all got hit recently...) Driving with my hi-beam lights on intentionally has probably cut down on the number of dangerous "lane intrusions" by 95%. Also, this has cut down on road-rage induced WOT middle finger extended passes when the aforementioned things happen, so my fuel mileage has picked up as well. :-D
Ironically, I never get flashed for my hi-beams

btw, this girl pulled up next to me while I was at a stop light and flashed me. Does that count?

i think that means something else
i get flashed at alot..i dont get too (#$(*% cause the HID's are pretty bright. with hid's i have no hi beams..which kinda suxx..but its all good. best part is when you let people cross the street at night..the way they shield their eyes and start walking faster

My own experience is that perhaps one oncoming driver per 3 months has any problem with that aim (and that individual may just be counting white lights and thinking that 4 = high beams must be on).

OT but related. I've been living in Korea for 7 months. What is really cool about driving here is how courteous people are. One big thing is when driving at night. When you pull up to a red light, it is a common practice to turn your low beams off(parking lights only). So rather than sit at a light and blind everyone that is turning or going wherever, they care about others. This is an amazing concept to me and I've never seen it in the US.
Yes, "Caring about others", hmm, definately a weird concept.

affirmative..
its says Swirl and Haze remover. Someone else on the board recommended it and it worked great for me. Just be careful.. use a super soft cloth, remove all dirt first, and rub lightly yet repeatedly.
