If you have a dead maxima ECU laying around there sell it to me so I could fix mine. Preferably a 2001 Maxima SE 5.5 gen 3.0 engine without traction control. But any from 98 to 2002 will do.

I just need to swap the ignition driver chip from any ECU in that year range for mine that is not functioning correctly.

 

I have a complete working ECU from a 2001 Auto without Traction Control.
It was either a GLE or GXE, not sure. You can have it for $80 shipped.

Wow, here's your deal, Frank - unless you're just a glutton for punishment and really feel the need to hassle with changing out the ignition driver in your ECU. Why change it out if you can replace the whole ECU for this cheap?

 

I have a 2001 nissan maxima 5 spd. i need a properly working ecu because mine is not working correctly if needed the number on it is(a56-q78 z99)... so where would be somewhere i can buy one for a reasonable amt .. i wouldnt want ot pay a grand from the dealer.. HELP !!
