Whats up guys and gals I finally made it out to the track last weekend and I had high hopes but it didnt end up going as well as I would have liked. I made 5 passes throughout the day with my best E.T being a 13.23 and my best MPH being 113. It was my first time out on the drag radials and also the first time to really run the car after installing the window swtich from dynotune. I was spraying a 100shot all day, I set my window switch to spray at 2K so pretty much coming right out of the hole. I had traction issues all day long and I guess thats what I get for trying to spray a 100shot right out of the hole but I was being hardheaded so thats what I get I guess lol. My best 60ft was a 2.01 and that would of been the easy 12sec pass I was hoping for but when I got to the top of second gear the car started breaking up and it dropped a cylinder so I got out of the nitrous as well as the gas pedal and coasted down the track. The C5 Corvette that I was running that race ended up going 12.85 and I was out in front of him by 2 cars at the 600ft mark so it def would have been interesting to see what I would have run that pass but oh well what can you do. It ended up just being a bad coil so I replaced it with another coil and made 2 more passes after that with no trouble at all.

Here are two of the videos from last Sunday and I will be the first to apologize for the guy saying "oh sh*t" in the background vs the SRT4. That is one thing I hate when people run their mouth during a video but oh well it is what it is. Here you go....

100 shot, damm............nice times non the less, did you try to use the first gear lockout on the dynotune stage 1 controller (if thats what you have) I think if you lock out 1st gear you will not spin as much coming out of the hole and start spraying in 2nd to get in the 12's

if you dont have the controller I'm talking about maybe u can flip the arming switch when you shift 2nd

^ or he can just try spraying at around 2500rpms

but nices times and mph, this gives me alot of hope seeing your times cause I have a 4gen with a 3.5 swap header back exhaust, ssim intake, vafc2 and 100shot of juice sitting on dr's. I figured it would be good for 12's easy but now I know for sure

the run when you were running the vette what was your 1/8

I was there on sunday. Only part of the day though, definitely didn't see you make any passes. I would've come and talked to you if I did.

Nice Se-r man. try spraying at around 2,500 or 2,800 rpm's all your doing from what i see in the video's is spinning. Try also doing what secondtonone said start spray after the 1st gear and see which setup works best for you.

Thanks man. I do have the controller your talking about and it is a dam good one when used right lol. But like I said I was being hardheaded trying to spray and hook out of the hole with a 100shot on some barely hot DR's.. But oh well now I know better.

Thanks bro I appreciate it. When I ran that vette I got out of the hole really well but once I got into 2nd gear the car started breaking up so I let completely out of it so my 1/8th mile isnt even anything to mention I ended up running like a 17 or something. If you have a 4th gen with those mods you should see 12s very easily because of the power to weight ratio. Those things are freakin light! Keep your hopes high because you will def be pleased with your times I think if you hook up. thats the name of the game and as you saw I failed!

Yea I was def there, I was prolly over behind my trailer by the grand stands tinkering with the car in between one of the rounds. I wish I would have seen you though.

I originally had my window switch set at 2,000 and after the pass where I messed up the coil on cylinder #2 so I bumped it up a little. My fourth run I tried 2,800 and it still blew the tires off going into 2nd gear, and then my last run I moved it up to 3,400 and when the nitrous hit it STILL spun the dam DR's. So I think I'm gonna either need slicks or lockout first gear completely like secondtonone stated in his previous post. The car makes a freakishly 367whp on the 100shot so its def putting down some power now I just gotta play the chess match and see how I'm gonna get it to hook.

Thanks for all the advice guys I really appreciate it!

Damn, you have great MPH very impressive! You should start out with the 75 shot next time out with the window switch set at 4,000RPM because if your trapping at 113 on the 100 pill with the 75 pill you will trap between 108 to 110 and that will put you in the 12.8 range . We have similar setups and when I run 12.8 I'm trapping between 107 to 110MPH. Looking at the video it seems like your sitting to far in the water box causing you to drag excess water up the tree and its dripping back down on your tires from the wheel wells. Nice runs you definately got a mid 12 car you just gotta figure out how to hook it.

Nice run and nice really nice mph. Get your 60fts. down and you should run some low/mid 12 second runs with that kind of mph.

I think when I go back to the track which may be this Friday depending on my schedule, I'm gonna lock first gear completely out or do what you said and go back with the 75 shot we will see though. I tried calling you back this weekend I was pretty tied up with a buddies wedding so we played phone tag all weekend so I apologize for that. But I will get up with you sometime this week I'm sure. Take it easy bro and thanks for the advice.
