Please don't flame me, i wanted to know if my car has this on it, i have a 99 SEL auto trans, iam new to the forum, and am still learning about mods. Does this include all the parts i need to do the swap, and what gains am i expecting - 2-5 more hp? What makes this special over the MEVI? Thanks.......

 

no, your car does not have this. No, this does not include all the parts. You are expecting a 5-10-25 hp gain in the high end. This isn't more special that a MEVI, MEVI = middle eastern variable intake and 00vi = 00 variable intake. Hoever the 00vi is suppose to be better flow ::shrugs::

Mevi is supposedly easier to install, 00vi is harder.

00VI has more midrange and IIRC a bit more top end
MEVI is bolt on
00VI is not

properly tuned an 00vi can give ~50whp at redline (IIRC) since a stock USIM puts out about 130whp and an 00vi can put out 180-190 or so. Peak power is not increased nearly as drastically though.
