New 1/8th PB for me - 2.0 60' on street tires

Mods on the car are basic, intake/spacers/ssim/headers/ypipe/fastcat and a mostly stock catback. I'm no longer tuned, took the SAFC off.

First run:

60': 2.044
330: 5.787
1/8: 8.872
MPH: 80.12

Second run:

60': 2.039
330: 5.808
1/8: 8.888
MPH: 80.51

I really feel like it has 8.7s in it since I was shifting pretty slow b/c my stupid shifter came apart on the way to the track (nut on the linkage fell off, couldn't find it) so I was trying to make sure the linkage didn't fall off again.

For tires, I actually ran the 8.5" 350z tracks with the stock 245/45/18 potenzas on the front. They're a good bit taller than my stock tires were, so it'd be optimal for me to get some 15" sawblades with DRs on them.

edit: found the slip from my 3rd run that I was looking for. This one made me mad!

60: 2.010
330: 5.706
1/8: 9.080
MPH: 64.50

My shifter linkage (inside the car on the shifter) came off when I tried to shift to 3rd and i drifted across the traps. This was that 8.7 run I mentioned

pretty awesome 60's.

i once had the nut come off my shift linkage too, except I had the bolt installed from the bottom so when the nut came off the bolt came out too and my shift rod fell on the ground while driving. that was a fun fix on the side of the road lemme tell ya.

Thanks, track prep was great today. A few fox-bodies nearly took their bumpers off.

Slip the clutch pretty hard from 3500, just gradually get into the gas as I let the clutch out to make sure it doesn't bog when it fully hooks then floor it.

Yeah anything from a 13.4-13.6 depending on how much I pick up in the last 1/8 and pull the 3-4 shift. I normally gain 23 mph in the last 1/8 so that'd be a pretty solid 13.5ish@103ish (using ricer math)

1/8: 9.201
MPH: 79.45
1/4: 14.038

Exact same mods as now, except I now have a 2 degree timing advance (consult). I think it was mostly hooking up that improved my time.

Kept ripping the strap up when it wanted to wheel hop. I'm just going to put the engine mounts in soon as I find a press to use.

My phone is deactivated atm, gotta get new service. I was using the old one under my stepdad's plan since it was free haha
