Im going to the track tomorrow $20 fun racing for all from 3pm to 8pm im taking my 07 maxima cvt for the first time.its bone stock.Any tips you might have that might be useful at the track??????:

 

go around the water box, don't do a burnout. useless on street tires in my opinion. take out your spare tire and jack, make sure you don't have a bunch of extra crap in the car.

 

Union Grove is the track I go to as well. I don't know about CVT's, but with my car I hold the rpms at about 1800 and nail it when I see the third yellow. I've got my best times that way. By the way...The announcer at Great Lakes Dragaway is kinda goofy. He gets annoying after a while.

 

well finally made it to the track today with my bone stock 07 maxima cvt. i ran my car multiple times and the best i did was a 14.8 first run 15.8 second 15.2 third 15.0 fourth fifth sixth etc was all 14.8 this is how the best run looked like:::

I was pretty happy with the outcome i honestly expected higher time more like in the 15s but there is next year just have to get my mods ready for summer of 09
