I don't know if this is really the Courtesy. From what i read here before it seems the one they offer now won't fit on the 2k2 bay.

Listen no offense to anyone. A FSTB is a FSTB. There is nothing special about it. All it needs to do is keep the top suspension points from flexing apart. You can weld a gas pipe to it if that floats your boat.

But any freagin FSTB that fits our car will work the exact same way as a Stillen or a Courtesy, or my ghetto rigged 4th gen one. ALL THE SAME as far as handling #s are concerned.

Not to undercut what you just said, but for extreme auto-Xcrossers the "best" FSTB is one that not only links the 2 strut towers together (2-pt FSTB) but is also attached to the firewall from each strut tower (4-pt FSTB) to prevent any further flex of the single bar.

For us, a basic 2-pt FSTB will suffice for our needs.

I think i saw this type of set-up on the RSX.

Question. Is there one available for the Max?

Neuspeed makes these types of FSTB for the VW's...or you can just prototype one yourself.
