Ran the daily driver Saturday night. Little Dissapointed

So I took my '03 to the track Saturday night. Not real serious about my times, but I did want to make a good effort if I was going out. I really was just there to help tune a good friends '84 300ZX which we were happy with a 13.3@113 on pump gas. But here's the scoop:

3 runs.

1st run - Terrible, spun horribly.

2.4... 60'
6.7... 330
10.1...1/8
72.92..1/8
13.06...1000
15.5....1/4
91.31 MPH

2nd run - Better

2.26...60
6.3....330
9.6....1/8
74.....1/8
12.5....1000
14.9....1/4
92.14 MPH

3rd run - Best - Still slow

2.25...60
6.29...330
9.6....1/8
74.52...1/8
12.48...1000
14.92....1/4
92.42 MPH

1st run was manually shifting 1-3. Spun through 60' for some reason. 2nd and 3rd runs I left it in D. Only seemed more consistent and not negatively impacted by not stretching out the gears. I stalled as high as the stock auto would allow with very marginal wheel spin.

Temperatures were around 40F. I have a drop in K&N filter, and 2* timing advance. These were also with the crappy 16's you see in the sig.

Any ideas why my car seems so weak? I mean, it seems very very average for a stock time, yet I had VERY optimal track conditions and I have a K&N drop in with 2* timing advance. I'm glad it was at least 14's, but a little dissapointed. Any ideas?

Also I pulled the spare tire and had no extra weigh, my car is a GXE that weighs 3365 with me in it. Subtracting my weight, the car weighs 3185 full interior minus spare, sound about right?

Not bad. My 03 6Speed with just Injen CAI has ran a best of 14.7 @ 95.03 mph. My big problem is my 60 foot. On street tires I am always in the 2.2-2.3 range. I spin way too much. My expectation was a bit lower time, but I just need to work on my 60 foot times.

well you only made 3 passes, so something better might have showed up on the timeslip. Although, your 2nd and 3rd pass are pretty much identical. Thats probably a good idea of what she will run, but a 14.8 is possible aye, maybe a 14.79 given a lower 60 foot, etc.

I think she ran well ! nice work !
