Whats the best way to clean sticky seat heater switches...

...from soda and other drinks being spilt into them? Both of mine are sticky as ***** cause the cup holders are right there. I dont want to flush them under water cause I know the effects of corrosion. Any other ideas... electronic or TV tuner cleaner? I'll check to see what the price of those switches are. Might be easier just to buy new ones.

I had the exact problem too with my 98 se. So what I did was took apart the center console and pop hem out and clean them CAREFULLY withe dash cleaner. Works great. Now I am more careful about the coffee and sodas.

i take the panel out of the center console, and use electonics cleaner and a toothbrush, usually the one that i plan on using for the next month or so.

You can get CRC Electronics Cleaner (an aerosol) at NAPA for ~$5. It dries quickly without any residue and works wonders on electrical parts.

Since I live in a high humidity area (New Orleans) I always have a problem with oxidized electrical/electronic contacts.
