yea they barely fit over the E46 ones but its primarly due to the tabs on the sides, i can take some more detail pics if u want

k here u go, i took the lense off the X5 projector its 3" aswell for comparison


i put the lense inside the shroud it sits flat there are some tabs but the can be dremeled down for a perfect fit

verrrrrry interested in the projectors. any scratches on the lenses? Do they come with bulb holders and what type of bulb does this take? Also, are they missing anything at all for the bixenon solenoid to work?

i havent tested the solenoid, but they just came out of the X5 so i dont think they will be a problem, i will test them later today. But their are no scratches on the lenses, the harness for the projectors are all in place it takes a D2S bulb, bulb holders are still on the projectors.

my bad i got kinda caught up but i dont think i will be able to get those stands off without scratching up the back of the VAFC, they are on there pretty good

 

you can heat the back of it up. and peel away its only held on with double sided tape
