Stillen lip..

I was thinking black to match the CF hood... grill.. tint... and soon rims...

I dont want to spend a lot to get it painted k11 cause' i get sooooo many knicks and dings on the front of the car..

If i do black i would paint myself, just like i did on my grill ..which came out grrrrrrrrrreat!

Black my man. Thats my vote. I think it'll go with your theme pretty well and you can save yourself some money by painting it yourself like you already said.

Smoke

 

I saw this trick on American chopper where they painted a snakeskin on a bike (wish I could find a pic of that bike... it was sweet!)... they put some fishnet stockings around the tank of the bike and painted. Try that with black! lol

 

Im not a fan of the stillen lip, but if you must, then go smoke. Everyone has their personal preferences but from one K11 to another and homie, I would not put anymore into the body, unless overhaulin gets ahold of your car...teehee

I would paint it smoke because then it would match the rest of the car and the black will show the chips alot more than the smoke.

this is a tough choice... I would like to paint it k11 but i have had a few ppl tell me it would be around 250-350 to paint it..

That lip looks horribly outdated.

Hell, paint the stock black section of the bumper K11. It's quite a change.

I was thinking something like that. You can always paint it black 1st, and then if you don't like it pay to get it painted K11 after. Looks like black is winning in the polls though.

 

I don't think you need it period... It makes the front look even MORE angular but maybe thats the look you're going for.

 

What other direction could i go for front lip/spoiler/fascia ?

Ez concepts has one but its more of the entire bumper which would look off if i only had the front..

I kinda agree with you there. It's cleaner as is. But if you are going to paint it, please do K11. I know it's your car and whatnot, but let me point out to you that the stillen lip is more like a mask instead of a lip. It covers like half of your bumper instead of adding to the bottom of the bumper. If you paint it ALL black, you'll have like a two tone bumper which gonna look hella weird if you ask me. But again, that's just my opinion and it's your car.
