I really did search...REALLY I did...despite there being hundreds of bulb threads, I don't think this one was answered...at least not before I gave up with the search.

Since it doesn't appear that Polarg makes a Visual G Amber 194 bulb (if so, where can I buy...I've been looking at a few sites with no luck), what 194 wedge will match the color of the Visual G 1157. Trying to match the front turn signal and side markers. Anybody found a good combination?

One other thing...does the Polarg Hyper Red actually look RED in the rear clear markers...because I'm sick of my pink side markers.

You can apply a light coat of silver paint on a stock amber bulb to get the same effect. Someone posted this in the General Forum about 1 month ago.

 

That thread seemed to be about getting the bulb to be a silver color when off but emit an amber light, if we're talking about the same thread. I'm just trying to pick the amber 194 which matches the amber color of the Visual G 1157 most closely when they are both lit up...not worried about the silver look when they are off.

In other words, will the Hyper Amber M-series Polarg 194 and the Visual G Amber 1157 emit the same color when lit up, for example?

have you tried www.autodynamic.com i got polarg G from them but in superwhite maybe they have a amber pair for the wedge???

 

Thanks. I've been there. Nobody carries a 194 wedge in the Polarg G series from what I can tell, that's why I'm looking for the closest match.

 

yeah me too. looking for a good pair of red wedges.
