Speaker vibration
Speaker vibration
Sometimes the rear speaker REALLY vibrates badly. I did the velcro thing and it's still a problem. The worst example is "With or Without You" on my Best Of U2 CD (even at relatively low volume), but it happens on various tracks played loudly with heavy base and it's kinda irritating. Anyway, I noticed the metal plate of the speaker is only attached to the body of the vehice on 3 corners. There's no hole in the metal plate for this last corner but there's a hole in the body of the car that could be used. Should I try to bolt that last corner (rear passenger corner) in place also? I don't know what elso to do to get rid of the vibration.

Re: Speaker vibration
I complained to the dealer about it. They said that i was the six person with the same problem, and they will try to do smth about it. Long story short, they fixed it under warranty. My speaker is now bolted down with 4 bolts vs 3 as it was before. Sounds quite better now.
Props to Academy Nissan!

to get it done. Tell them that there IS a write up about the problem from Nissan itself. Oh yeah, the dealer i bought the Max from said that they're rattling because "It's not broken in yet" <---what a load of BS.
