Liscence Plate Harness

Liscence Plate Harness

How do I remove the harness for the light? If anyone has any pics or diagrams that would be helpful. I can only see it going behind the liscnece plate and throgh the spare tire well.

Looks like the connectors back there are integrated into the rear body harness:



Why are you trying to remove it?

Should I just cut the wires and do a solder job on them?
I'm replacing my lights with LED's. And the original bracket is rusted to hell.

I say just unplug, and tap the wire for the LED (in parallel I mean). that way you can always go back.

That's what my initial question was where would I unplug the harness from?
A pic would be helpful.

the plug connects to the plug on the bracket itself. If your bracket is rusty, remove the two screws that hold it to the bumper, then you'll see the harness connection, very easy to do.
