Coolant gauge problem

Anybody seen this or have a guess what it might be?

When accelerating my coolant gauge sometimes bounces all over the place from the bottom to mid point. Talking real erratic flying up & down multiple times a second.

It's intermittant and doesn't always do it. Cruising at steady speed it doesn't do it. Coolant level looks fine, 50/50 mix is good, and was last replaced 16 months ago. Reading various websites it might be a faulty/bad sensor ground but I have no idea where to start checking.

Check the single wire connector on the temp sensor for the gauge, it's likely corroded or loose.

That solved it thanks!. That's gotta be the easiest connector to get at in the whole engine bay.
