Floor mats question

Hey I've been looking for floor mats that have the maxima logo on it and these do but they say they are for 2001-2003. I think they SHOULD fit in my 2000 Maxima. Anyone know for sure?

I was just looking at All weather ones from the same place. Not a bad price, but $20 for shipping puts them up to $80. I can get a set of Weathertech mats for only about $25 more and with free shipping. Not sure what to do. Does anyone know if teh Werathertech ones are custom fit. The Max drivers side is kind of crooked and a all purpose one (even the expensive ones) won't vover down by the pedal.

i have the all weather ones and are ok priced. kinda flimsy, but good. i got tired of the carpet ones cause the stitching comes off pretty easy. havent seen those Werathertech ones... Nissan part number for the all weather is : 999E1-00004.

Doesn't Weathertech guarantee 100% fitment?

When I had the OEM rubber ones I felt they were very durable, hardly flimsy.

dont get me wrong, they still work great! i still have them! but i work for a lincoln/mercury/subaru dealer and these all weather mats are much thicker, so the nissan ones for the 01 max are a little thin... to me anyways.

I have the OEM rubber mats for winter...they are definitely NOT flimsy. Very heavy duty and good quality. They are a bit expensive but worth it, IMO.

I just put Weathertechs in my wife's Buick Enclave. Great fit and quality. I also happen have the factory Nissan all weather mats in my 2002 Max. To be honest with you, I feel both are of very comparable quality.

I would go with the oem ones I have them and love them. I also think they are very thick and have tall ridges to keep water and dirt in. I just swap them out in the summer for my carpet mats and back in for the winter.

I agree I have the OEM rubber mats and they are nice and thick. Very good quality. I got tired of my heel putting holes in the carpet mats for resting it in one spot all the time. I love the rubber ones...........

Mats

I have OEM and they are very good mats. Here is a link to Nissan Parts Direct, they are a bit cheaper for both carpet and rubber mats:

Thanks. $48 and $26 for shipping. (18 Pounds)

Cheaper than the other place. I am going to call a local Nissan dealer tomorrow and see if they have or can get them for me for less than $70 including tax. Doubt it, but you never know. I'll let everyine know how it goes.

I am definitely going for the OEMs. The don't guarentee that they will cover the whole area.

Just got off the phone with one of my local dealers. Someone that works for me is pretty tight with the parts guy. He's getting them for me for $46 plus tax. They will be in in 2 days. Good Stuff

Nice job. I had to do the same thing with a parts guy from Infiniti. Paid $53 total. You'll love the rubber mats. Heavy duty.

Look on ebay, or check with your local dealer. I have the rubber ones and they are awesome. They were cheaper to buy locally.
