New to forum New(to me) 04 maxima

hello everyone, I Am the proud new owner of an 04, Maxima SE, although I am not new to nissan. I had a 97' J30 for the last year and I Had a 92' 240sx coupe with some mods before that(and before my son).
I was trying to but a G35 sedan But it was sold when i got to the dealership. I probably would not have even bought this car but after a test drive and what they offered me for my old J30 it was a no brainer. I am the second owner and the original owner had all the upgrades done when he bought it,he also maintained this car to a T. I have all the service records since new.
It has a full NISMO cat back exhaust, Nismo CAI, Tein Lowering springs and KYB Shocks/Struts

the plans on my short list are, brake upgrade, Intake spacers(at plug change) strut tower bar, and a black mesh grille. I dont think I want to do much more with the body unless I can find a clean looking lip.

headers and y-pipe are down the road depending on how the car treats me

ill start a Album after I wash her

No I Crawled under the car and saw the green tein springs and kyb shocks. the dealer supplied the service records on the car.

what do you mean by "shaving the back"?

6thgenblackmaxx, I live in halifax too, off of annawon dr. east of the east monponsett pond

it was clean untill my trip to the cape.

Shaving the back is a term for removing all badges and emblems from the rear for a cleaner look!!!

I hope not!! I saw some threads about him having pinging issues,,,,It probably is though. The car runs fine for me (knock on wood)and I have a 1 year warranty, hope the thing blows before then. when I bought the car it had the nismo badge on it and there isint one in his pics.........huh IDK.
after reading some threads it seems these car can be real S**T boxes. nothing like my old 240.....276,000 mile and still laying posi-strips bouncing off the rev limiter!!! I miss that car

I know, and I bought the car from an Infiniti dealership. the service manager told me the previous owner had just bought a G35 too. I wonder what the pinging issue was, and -1 for the dealership if they put the NISMO badge on it( Not a fan of Ricing out my ride ,even though I like the badge) .......I hate car salesmen.

on the bright side it is way better than my old J30!!

How do you like the Tein Springs and you are so lucky to have gotten your max with the Nismo cat-back exhaust.

the rims wont be for sale,,,sorry
the tein springs are great, little stiff for the wife, but its my commuter car she gets the TRD tundra.
the exhaust has a bit of drone to it in highway gear, nothing the bose system cant take care of.

I clean this car every week but Drive 70 miles a day so it is hard to keep her spotless every day
