Just wondering if you guys could help me find a place to buy a front motor mount. All the local part stores around here just have the rear. and if anyone knows what the electric cable coming out of the front does that would be great, yes i searched but couldn't find an answer, ive got a 2001 I30 btw

Search here on the forum for Dave Burnette at South Point Nissan.

 

The electric front mount stiffens up while you're driving, softens for a smoother idle when you're stopped. That's all.

OEM is your best bet to find the electric mount, but personally I would just replace it with the regular mount. Cheap, easy to find, and none of that potential ECU damage the electric front mounts have.

Some trims didn't have an electric front mount with the auto, you won't really notice a difference.
