FS: VG Fidanza flywheel

$225 plus shipping. Plenty of life left. VG only (will not work with a VE/VQ due to center bolt pattern)

PM me.

it is on my car. I'm selling it for 2 reasons
1) i REALLY need the money (lost my job in november.. still owe goon several hundred $$ for the stuff i got from him in october)
2) i'm going to be drag racing at maxus, and a stock flywheel is better for drag racing. I'm not really in the mood to switch flywheels every time i take the car out, so it'll just be more convenient to keep the stock one on and just live with the slower shifts.

I may be interested, depending on whether I sell my car or not. Still trying to work out the finances on something else. I'll keep you posted.

Would this be good for a VG car with the VE5LSD trans swap?

yep, that's what goon had, and thats actually how i've been using it.. i'm just strapped for cash so i gotta sell a few mods to keep the bills paid. Since I have a stock-flywheel'd VG5 to compare to (matt's 89se) both he and i can tell you it's a big difference in how fast it revs and how quick you can shift. He loves it; if he didn't still owe me money for the car itself he'd actually be buying it, but that ain't the case.

So if you want it, lemme know. Maxitech's car is, at last check, listed for sale, so unless he says otherwise i think you're first in line. I also have a Blehmco SS clutch line for sale if you don't already have one.. $20 shipped (with or without the flywheel).

Well, I had a lead on a VE5 Max for $800 in Orlando, but someone else beat me to it !
So, if I get it now it would have to sit on a shelf until I could get a VE5 tranny to swap in or until I get a VE Max, both of which I'm not sure when will happen.

I'm just about to start full time with my buddy doing used car sales, brokering, etc... so I should have some money/cars soon.

I'll keep in touch.

well the flywheel depends on the engine, not the tranny. It will work just fine with a VG5 tranny. It will NOT work on a VE30DE engine, because the VE has 8 bolts in the middle, and the VG has 6.

i can get you a full VE5 tranny conversion from the JY if you want. there's a black one there (unknown miles, cluster already sold) that i pulled a shifter off of.. trans, axles, knuckles were all there. $500 for the Fidanza and the VLSD conversion + shipping or you could come pick it up (would be cheaper than shipping, if you had the time to come get it). Just a thought. You'd have to act fast, as i can't say that it will be there for any length of time.
