I bought these taillights about 4 years ago as fully clear taillights. I painted bottom of the lens Red to have Red/Clears on the outside, although will need fresh paint (see below).

I’m not sure what makes “David L” taillights (whether or not he bought the all-clear taillights like I did, and did the painting himself and sold them off as red/clears), but these are certainly the same style as David L’s. You’ll just need to repaint them.

Issues with the taillights:
Will need to be painted. The paint on the outside of the lens is currently peeling (4 years of use), and I would suggest removing the paint of the outside of the lens (or I can do that for you and ship you all-clear taillights), bake the lights and paint the inside of the lens.
A small piece of the insulation/weather stripping is unattached. I basically taped it to hold it in place, and when installed squeezed it into the body of the car. I never had any leaking issues. IMO, doesn’t affect the integrity of the lights if you install in the same manner I did.

I’m looking for $160+shipping OBO.

If I can find the stock light bulbs, I’ll include amber light bulbs for the turn signals to keep police off your back.

I am away from my house at the moment (college), but will be back in 2 weeks and then will be available to ship them out. I will also get some up to date pics of the taillights.

As for the "rolling" part out, I'm willing to sell almost anything off of the car that will allow me to continue driving it. For example, I'm willing to part with my heated/leather tan seats and door inserts, for cash + cloth seats. Will also consider selling the suspension in the same manner.

I also have some Diamond Cut Clear bumper lights for sale.

Reason for selling...they need some love (in the form of painting), and I'd rather have the money. I'd like to say it's to fund my S13 project, but it's most likely going to help cope with bar tabs.

The pics (although ballin out of control) do not reflect the current look of the taillights, just what they will be with maybe 2 hours of effort. As I said above, current pics will be taken in 2 weeks. I am basically selling the lights as all-clears though.

from what I understand, these are identical to davidl tails, except he didn't do the actual painting.
