is it safe to even rev that high, or do you even make power that high unless you doing internals.

Safe up to 7k ish with stock internals (VQ30). Been doing so for a couple of years now running it up to 7.2k on stock internals. No issues and still running strong.

You'll only make power up @ high rpm's if you have a VI... other than that.. stock USIM = Poop after 5500 rpm's. Regardless, the ECU is definitely worth it if you want that extra kick in the pants from the 4th gen. (Unless if you wanna get a piggyback like the EU, that would be even better but more $$$ will be required. Definitely not a plug and play system.)

Yes it's been done by quite a few members here for years and power can be made with a VI. Back to our regularly scheduled program......

what in the world... this ECU should have been sold within a day. $475 for a JWT ECU is an insane price. I sold mine within a day for $700 back a couple years ago.

That's what I've been thinking too! Guessing the 4th genner's are getting older and trading up or getting EU's now.
