WTB: Smart Entrance Control Unit

I'm looking to buy a smart entrace control unit or SECU. I need one that will work with a 2000 max. I haven't got a definitive answer if the part is the same in a 5.5 gen. If anybody has this part or is parting out their vehicle please let me know. Just in case anyone is unfamiliar with this part, it controls the power door locks and keyless entry as well as some other accesories. Here is a link with an illustration of the part. Located under the driver side dash.

I've got one if you find that the 5.5 gen works with yours. You might even want to get it to see if it does. I'm sure these were the same. Thanks.

I just got off the phone with my local Nissan to verify if mine would fit. I was told that Nissan used 2 different SECU in the 2000 Maxima based on production date, and he wouldn't confirm if they are interchangeable. I would check your pro-date and call Nissan for a correct PN before I buy anything.

Can a defective smart control unit cause a battery to lose its charge?
