my car is almost ready for winter
I did the 60k service last weekend, and it looks like the cooling system was flushed as opposed to drained.
I put new wiper blades in--shame the right one is 21" because it costs alot more (can't do the $4 Wal Mart thing).
I noticed the guy filled up the battery which is original.
One thing that astounds me, I put my K&N back in this am and took out the new Nissan filter that came with the service. After 7 days it's already a little dirty--I can see a pattern of grime when the filter is held at an angle. This motor really sucks air in through the filter. My previous car, after about 10,000 miles the filter was barely distinguishable from new. Another thing is whomever is supplying Nissan with filters is building them much more cheaply than 2 years ago. The factory replacement is really flimsy now.
The last thing I need are 4 new Bridgestone RE950's before the snow falls! Looks like I'm gonna get about 55k out of the RS-A's.
