I think I know that car. My brother did a Maxima just like that about a month ago. He put the headlights and tail lights in and shaved the whole car. Pretty freaky looking with those round tails. I'll call my bro tonight and ask him where the kid lived who owns it.

YUP - Just confirmed it!

My brother did all the body work on that Maxima. Proline Body and Chassis in Elmwood Park, NJ.

That guy has every mod in the book in that car. It doesn't even look like a Maxima inside. Kind of riced out a bit if you ask me. It was in pretty bad shape when I saw it being worked on. Looked as if it's beat on regularly.

Why does it look like the moldings are shaved badly? Is it just me, or do the rest of you guys see a line where the moldings used to be? Like they didn't fill it in right. Otherwise, the car looks really good.

Re: In steps the skeptic.....

If you have Skyline headlights and Taillights, your insanity has already been confirmed. But 12 lbs w/ Nitrous seems like a lot. Then all that other stuff just seems thrown in there "Stillen dual exhaust" and "racing transmission" seem kind of sketchy. Also, just because he has that many bottles doesn't mean he's running that much nitrous. he could be running a 40 shot for all we know.

But wait until you see what I have coming. I got all this show, so I figured 8lbs of boost and a 60 shot should take care of the go in my car.

I have a question. how to open the door? I heard of shaving the door handle or something like that. Just never seen it until today. If this is a stupid question, just ignore me.

There are solenoids/door opener kits they sell. Kind of like keyless entry, but it pops the door open instead of just unlocking it. Not too expensive. But, if your battery goes dead, or your remote does, you really can't get into your car wihout some hassles. That's why I didn't shave my door handles. I had the trunk keyhole and moldings removed, but left the handles.

jeff, that's why you simply keep the stock remote on the keychain and if the other remote dies, roll down the windows with the stock remote..

as far as the battery going dead, you are screwed, but that guy we talked about in NJ with M3 mirrors, reverse hood, etc etc, has a hidden popper somewhere under his car or something..

i just want to have someone go to get in my car when i say "it's unlocked" and watch how confused they are..

The solenoids are somewhere in the $150-$200 range, I forget since it's been a while since I checked. The bodywork is at least $1K. They have to weld metal plates in there and then fill/prime/paint everything.

All that work he should of just molded an R34 front bumper on. It would have looked a lot better. Would make people say is that a Skyline? instead of look at that weird Maxima. lol

shod some R34 wheels on it and a Skyline rear spoiler and viola.
Then again you could have just taken all the money he spent trying to make his maxima look like a skyline and actually bought one. An R32 or R33 at least.
