BEFORE anyone says I should not put FX wheels on my Max because they are too heavy: DON'T! LL I know the risks and all that including the weight of each rim. I didnt know where else to ask this at so I decided to post this here--if this is the wrong area please move me.

I have been searching for months for some decently priced chrome 06-08 20" Chrome 8-spoke wheels but have not been lucky. I already had the same ones but they were alloy. A friend recommended I get them chromed but couldn't tell me where to do this. I wasnt aware you could chrome rims but now I am I wanted to know if anyone knew where I could get this done at. I dont mind sending them off but I would like to deal locally either in Louisiana or neighboring states. Any help would be appreciated.

i really don't recommend chroming wheels but there's usually some auctions on ebay for chroming/chrome exchange. warranty is definitely the key to picking a vendor.

Yeah I noticed those... they all offer 5 year warranties. I guess I will just stick with those stock FX's... I'll just trade in my 04 Stock rims for the chrome ones to boost the resell value later on. Thanks!
