yea, i agree with Nick. Look at the pic of his Max, then imagine Altezza outer pieces only....i think that will look ugly. like clear outer pieces but stock inners....ewwwww gross

I have no problem with you guys urging companies to make products for our cars, but I don't think that slapping toyota altezza tail lights onto any car is going to make them look "luxury". Those tail lights will not automatically give your car "luxury" status. Of course, this is personal opinion.

 

nobody said that it would make it instant "luxury" status....I you like it cool, if not cool. Maxima is already a SPORTS LUXURY SEDAN, so whatever we do to it is just an added benefit.

They claim that they have the half red half clear as well as the all clear...made by APC...I saw we push the 4 piece altezza for the 95-96's and the 2 piece for the 97-99's....come on now, all the creativity out of our 1200 members...we can find a way to make anything look good

 

whole Kitten kaboodle. I mean why just the outer pieces? GO FOR THE inner pieces too. I have an 88 max so i WONT be in on this deal. Also I know youre hyped upabout the altezzas and all but try not using the caps so much its hurting my eyes every time I read it. and it seems like you are yelling when you write it.

 

i just e-mailed all 4 of the guys over at APC. Dont we want ALL 4 PIECES including the trunk. just the outer would look like $hit!! I will keep pushin to get them made for us finally.

 

we should try to SEPARATE ourselves from the Honduh Wannabes. our Maximas are in a different CLASS of automobile than a CIVIC or accord. Keep the Maxima Classy and not looking like a cheap wanna-be.

imho, the all clear tail lights are already too much. we dont need the altezza-ish look..

altezzas on a max?..you guys better hope apc doesnt make some crappy ones. my g/f had some crappy ones, the red lens popped out. she got them replaced for free, but still that sucks. anyways how do you guys know they wont look wack?..the only decent altezzas are the 94-95 accords, and the preludes. the ones with the civic, tegra, and newer accords are wackkkkkkkkk. the two piece for the civics are soo ugly...im not against the altezzas..im just hope they arent ugly...

damn all these sh*t about altezza is getting my blood pump really fast. ok ya'll answer me this okay. i can remove all four pieces of the taillight from my 95 max. now does this only goes with the 95-96 max. because i see that most of u 97-99 max owner are only requesting for the outter pieces. so does that mean u guys can't remove the inner pieces or u guys only want the outter pieces to be altezza. in my opinion if they make all four pieces of the max's taillight altezza then that would be really cool. but if they would only make the outter pieces then i think that would suck so bad. if they do only make the outter pieces then apc would lose one potential buyer. i don't know if any of u guys have seen or noticed but the 96-97 accord has the most similar 4 pieces taillight as the max. now the 96-97 accords has two version of altezza. one has a clears glossy look with a circle (almost the same size) on both the outter and inner. this one is ugly. the second one that i've seen looks like the 94-95 accord outter altezza with inner pieces made altezza also with a little red circle. no i hope if apc make one for the max then i hope they make it look like this.

Look if your not down with the Altezza's then just don't post up, simple. We need positive support; the 'i think thats a stupid idea' doesn't help.
Surely those with common sense have to appreciate what we are trying to do here. Support for the Max's in a market place overly saturated with hondas and ac's is a hard thing to come by. The more we can get the name out the better off we are cause more people will recognize.
From now on if you don't support a topic like this then just move on to another thread. Save your gripes for the test forum. Much obliged.

 

i like the those lights, but what i dont like are people coming on here saying oh why do u wanna be a honda wanna be. its just a diff look and i think it would look great on the max i am in for a group deal on this. i think this should be supported , i myself supported things on here that i didnt even want. if u want to move foward in aftermarket parts for our cars u have do do things like this. Every time i look threw scc 90% of the sh*t are for hondas and i wish we had that many choices as they do.

Well said man. I was going to put something like that but I did not want to come off as a smart a$$. That is true we need Maxima support and that is why I have been posting so much I want these and we can get them if we keep up the emails. We to though pick one style and agree on I like the 95-96 Accords in a 4 piece set.

I like this style it is similar in shape to the Max's tails. And we want a 4 piece set. A few other people agree with me too on this. We all need to get one style/set narrowed down.
