How do you deal with people with no insurance

in a low impact hit? nothing is wrong but when they say they have no insurance you dont want their broke *** to do it to someone else. i've been backed into twice now by females with no insurance (ofc driving nicer cars than mine)

I think the 3rd time it happens i'm calling cops to the scene, this is rediculous.

I'd also like to put spikes on the front and back bumpers so if they run into my **** they have to fix it themselves.

If they are good looking, ask them for a date. Other than that, have them pay for a rough estimate of the damage on the spot, no IOUs, or call the Po-Po.

call the police imo. at least if the cop does his job they will get a ticket and hopefully learn their lesson.

I just added uninsured on my maxima for $8 extra a month. My insurance lady was telling me alot more people don't have insurance nowadays because they cant afford it. So I figured $8 extra a month for the piece of mind if some ***** without insurance hits me, it will get fixed.

See, I would do this but I don't want an accident on MY RECORD (even if not at fault)

there wasn't any damage, that i've noticed yet, just a hard bump. still pisses me off though. people need to look back when they back up -.-

What ticked me off even more is she got into her car and proceded to back up even closer to my car till i had to lay on my horn

People are dumb. I would say just get the uninsured motorist option with your insurance.. It'll be worth it if some serious damage occurs. Where I live in TN all leaned cars MUST have this because there are so many people with no insurance and even better nearly 30% dont even have a license..

Most don't have insurance because they don't want to pay for it, not because they can't afford it.

Next time, call the cops. It's illegal to drive without insurance, and if they were to get in a real wreck, they'd be foooooked. better to get a ticket for not having it than to watch some poor innocent person get skrood for life because a **** like that T-boned them at 60.

get their plate number and call the cops, your only hurting yourself if you let them go cause the damage is minor at the moment but it could deteriorate over time. Don't worry about hurting their wallets cause it would make them get insurance and who knows they may total their car a week after they get insurance and then they wouldn't be out of a car because they didn't have insurance. Uh i think spikes are illegal and i know from personal experience that cars hurt bad enough if you get hit by one and you don't want a murder charge on your hands cause of them.

I called them 4-5 mins after I drove away, dispatcher was like, forward the info to the insurance company, didn't seem like he cared, since if I called at the scene, they might have sent someone out.

sucks this person continues to drive like an idiot and potential harm someone else that might not have uninsured motorist insurance (like myself) which i'm gonna pick up in the near future since this happened.

Avoid The Uninsured

I would avoid all people without insurance ... always get uninsured option when you buy insurance its not much more and can save you alot of serious worry if your car gets severely damaged by an uninsured driver ..... people drive without a valid license or uninsured all the time ..... whenever i rent a car i always use their insurance in case im ever involved in an accident ....
