my alarm is going crazy! car doesnt start.

UPDATE. Something is definitely wrong with the alarm system.

so i plug the neg terminal back in the battery tried pushing unlock on the keyless entry remote and the alarm STILL does not disable. while the alarm was still going off i tried to lock and unlock the door with the key because that usually shuts off the alarm also but NOTHING so i decide to try and start up the car anyway. NOPE does not start. i noticed the dome lights were also very dim. i do not have the thing to check the fuse but will buy one tomorrow. any suggestions or advice to help me out? i dont want to keep messing around with it because im probably pissing the neighbors off.

Never heard of that noise but I do have similar kind of noise which I always ignored.

When key is inserted in ignition then I hear contineous sound like "chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.." from the fuse box close to the battery. If I take my key off the ignition then it stops. Its so low noise that anyone could easily miss to hear.

I am sure you replied to OP because I installed my battery that was the top performance available in autozone about 6 months ago.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....your updated post telling me you have bad battery.

Your battery must be a stock battery and whats happening is your battery putting out 12V-14V at one second and 0V at another second. Your battery is going bad so have someone to check it out and replace it.

Hmm.... then yeah it could be something else mate. When my stock battery gave-up, it acted like the problem you are having right now (minus alarm problem) as my inside lights were like so dim and car refused to start. Autozone found that my battery acted like on/off switch putting out 12V/0V after every seconds.

Good to see you have someone smart person to look at your problem.
