Anybody else customize stock grill ?

I recently got a E&G steel grill for My 04 Max, I have to say it looks good but at the same time it looks kinda two dimensional. So I have started customizing My stock grill, I cut all the ugly square things outta the grill and used a dremel tool to smooth down the areas where those were attached, Now all the areas where the squares were attached are gonna need bondo filler to fill in them little splits, (dont be dirty minded) I am not sure what color to go with, maybe just majestic blue,my car color or a silver that matches my wheels But already the grill looks better with the crap cut out what was that sh__! now it looks like two cowls on either side of the emblem plate. Im sure I am not the first to do this but I would like to post pic,s of mine when finished and have a thread that shows all the different ways this can be done. By the way Im undecided on what to use on back, hoping to find some kinda mesh or maybe some chrome barbwire to use as radiator protecter. Lets see them grill mods.

I find nothing too interesting to mod stock grille. I am going to get c-mod grille at some point. I think its better to mod caddy's CTS grille instead of our stock grille.

I did the same thing a few monthes ago.. The only thing that I couldn't remove was the plastic pieces on the side of the factory grille.. So, if you look close you can see that I cut it out.. I left it cause I needed somewhere to grab when I bent the mesh to the plastic and glued it.. but you have to look very close to see the flaws.. Here's how it turned out..

I've thought about cuttin out the center plastic and installing mesh. I would like to keep the chrome look but also want mesh. Basically like the JDM grille but chrome.
