Will 17" 03' Titanium TE Rims w/ 225/45/17 Fit??

I got a stupid question but was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have 4 Titanium Rims from a 2003 Max that I bought from an member on the .ORG for my 2001 Max GLE (originally had 16" rims)... I wanted to know if I put 225/45/17 in the front and 245/40/17 in the back would that fit? Would it make my ride feel messed up? Any suggestions on the best tire setup for these rims on a 01' Max.. Currently running 225/50/17 all around but need new tires soon...

Thanx

Why would you want to run fatter rubber in the back? I would not do it.

Just purchase 225/50 all around. Buy decent tires so the ride's not "rough."

Put 225/50's all around and you should be fine. Incidentally, I have 350z rims and I'm riding on 245 45's and even though my rear wheels are wider I still rotate my tires every other oil change.

Point being, if you decide to go with a different size for the rear don't let what some of the knuckleheads here say about it "looking" stupid if you have wider tires on the front. What matters is that you're getting the max life out of your tires.

Besides, no one is going to notice such a small difference anyway, and if they do so what its not their car, tires, or money that bought them.
