Anyone used a GTECH/Pro before?

My dad got one today for purchasing a set of Bridgestones. For some reason I can't get it to read out my 0-60 time. Im pretty sure I followed the instructions, but this is what Ive been doing.

1. Turn it on
2. Select Acceleration mode
3. Move switch to center position
4. push in button
5. Readout says "Go"
6. I start acceleration, the GTECH starts timing
7. When I hit 60 or so I start braking and when I stop, supposedly it is supposed to give me a read-out but it never does, it just continues to time up into the 40-50 second range before I stop it.

What am I doing wrong?

thanks

Try setting the sideways switch before choosing the accel mode. Also, you didn't mention but you are setting it up completely level before pushing in to start right?

Maybe try keep accelerating longer like you're going for the 1/4 test. The 0-60 will flash for a second before going away. If you slow too early it thinks you're trying the 60-0 braking test.

Yeah maybe I just need to accelerate longer, I usually slow around 67-70. I just have to be really careful around here because of cops, and it's hard to find a road where I can go 0-80 or whatever and then come to a dead stop -- or did you say that the 0-60 time appears before I need to come to a stop?
