I just picked up a Nismo CAI for my 07 Max for $221 shipped! I got it on e-bay, and the total was $255, but I'm getting $33.50 from the Microsoft cashback program....WOOT!!! I've been watching the cashback percentage hovering around 8% for the last week, and this morning they bumped it to 14%, so I had to jump on the intake! Removing all of the intake plumbing will free up all kinds of room for me to mount my 2 1/0 fuse holders for my stereo upgrade!!!

You could have gotten it for $189 shipped to your door.

I believe that was Winterfaust that was selling them on the 6th Gen site. I thought he was sold out, and I thought I remembered him saying there weren't that many left as they aren't being made anymore. The cheapest I had found was from CovinaNissan on Ebay, and it was $239.99 plus $15 shipping. That's where I used the Microsoft Cashback program to get it down to $221 shipped. I was just relaying the info if anybody else was wanting to pick one up.

Chernmax,

I'll have pics as soon as it show up!

I was on the hunt for a GD for Nismo CAI's, and Covina Nissan told me they could do it for $250 shipped to your door. That's the cheapest I found after searching dealers all over the US... they're all running out of them, and pretty soon they won't be available. Dealers in San Diego are selling them for $275 + shipping & it's a special order... LA dealers (Covina and Jim Hills Nissan) are selling them $250 shipped +.

Congrats on the CAI purchase bro... and you got lucky with the rebate. Enjoy it.

Thanks, I was following your thread on the group purchase. I figured it was a pretty good deal with the rebate.

It's pretty easy, you sign up for a Microsoft Live ID, and then you link to ebay through Microsoft's LIVE homepage (google Live search). I use "wii" as my LIVE search term. It will bring you to a search page, and ebay will be one of the sponsored stores. It will tell you on that page what the current promo discount is. I made good use of this last year as I was purchasing all of my equipment for my audio install. I saved about $450 on my equipment last year.

It can yield decent to pretty good savings. The percentage of rebate fluctuates...it's now back down to 8 percent. I bought most of my stuff late last year at 25-30 percent rebate savings. You just have to make sure not to violate their terms of service, or you may get your rebate denied. That being said, I recieved all of my rebates....(knocks on wood)!!!
