Ya it is an awsome price. Stillens is $219 and i've heard that the red paint that they use for there logo in the bar peals off from the engin head but it usually happens one letter at a time. Also the Racingline Performance front struct looks a lot better than the Stillen one stability wise.

Good to hear that your in man. Spread the word to anyone you know with a 7thgen if you know anyone else, lol.

I assume you know that there is a strut tower brace already installed on all 2009 Nissan Maximas.

The strut brace installed on the 09 Maxima connects only the strut towers to the firewall and is a flimsy piece of stamped steel. It does not actually tie the towers together. The Racingline Bar complete the triangulation of the towers and firewall providing superior strength and increased steering response and feedback.

To be honest with you idk... They never gave me a date so i think that there isn't an ending time on it. But i dont plan on waiting forever to get people to get this. I understand not everyone has money for it right now or they dont want it for there car but the longest that i'll keep this list going is probably another week. We have 9 on the list right now.

is it just a matter of unscrewing and then screwing it back w/ the brace?

GREAT NEWS!!!! I GOT A REPLY EMAIL FROM THE PERSON THAT I HAVE BEEN TALKING TO AT RACINGLINE AND HE MOVE THE 20+ PEOPLE FOR THE $109 SHIPPED DEAL DOWN TO 16+ PEOPLE... SO ALL WE NEED NOW IS 16 PEOPLE TO GET THAT DEAL

We can also now add the battery tie down by racingline performance to our order for an extra $20 (reg. $33.99)

Yes...just undo the three bolts on each tower and install. Make sure you are on level ground. I am trying to decide if I will put back the plastic covers by cutting out the slot for the bar or just leave off. Has anybody tried to cut those out and how do they look?

Kam,

Any idea how much longer we are going to wait? Looks like it will be forever before we get 16 people. Reason I ask is because I am returning home from deployment this weekend and would like to get the strut bar while home for 2 weeks. If you will keep this going for a while, I may have to pull out and order mine for the full price in order to get it while home. Let me know.

I apologize... I have given up on the 16 people and now am just waiting for one more person to be in for the group deal and we will be all set to go to order the strut bar. I am very eager as well, but i guess not everyone sees a good opportunity when there is one.

I am pretty sure that once we reach our 10 people goal the guys from Racingline Performance will post directions on how to go about purchasing the strut bar and battery tie down (if wanted) as soon as the goal is met.

Sorry again for the wait. I have been doing everything that i can on this forum as well as a few others but had no response from anyone on any of the other forums.

so i guess you have to remove the plastic covering first...i kinda like the plastic cover though. it adds a nice look to it.

Yes you do have to remove the plastic covering to get to the bolts in order to screw the front strut into place but after the install all you have to do is cut off some of the plastic covers in order to put the covers back on. I like the covers as well but doing a little of moding is the cost to get better handling.

Ya it did take forever but with patience good things happen. We now have 10 10 people on our Group Buy list. From what i understand someone from racingline should be posting information on how to go about on the group buy.
