6thgen Wheels on A 4thgen

Hey guys,

My buddy just bought my 6thgen wheels off me and decided to put them on today. we put them on and now were hearing a wamping noise from the front. it doesn't look like its rubbing at all... do i need some type of spacers? or something that can help my situation out?

Sure it isn't just road noise from the tires?

Jack the car up under the LCA to compress the suspension, then spin the tire.

What size tires?

if your talking abt the SE 18 INCH- 245/45 R18 than it is road noise, i have a 96 with those anchors on it(they weigh a ton), and i have no noise or sounds, however i did before with my older tires.

interesting... he's thinking it was the strut pushing on the wheel and was going to invest in spacers... your saying it's not needed? yes they are the 18" SE rims that are 245/45/18

No. The honeycoms he's talking about are the stock wheels on his 4th gen. They can be found on 95-96s.
